For most of my career, I was used to being the only woman at the table.
In corporate, I was often the sole female manager on teams dominated by men. When I transitioned into accounting, every CPA I worked for was male. In fact, I’ve never had a female boss in my entire career.
For years, I didn’t think much of it. This was just “how business worked,” right?
But as I became an entrepreneur and started my own CPA firm, something shifted. I began noticing patterns in the women who sought me out—brilliant, successful business owners who felt unheard, dismissed, and isolated in their journey.
They’d share stories that sounded all too familiar:

What started with helping my father became a journey of completely reimagining how tax strategy should work.
Being a trailblazer in an industry stuck in its ways isn’t easy. I had to learn everything from scratch—advanced tax strategies that most CPAs never touch, systems that actually deliver results, and how to build a team that truly partners with clients instead of just processing paperwork.
The turning point came when I realized traditional CPAs were failing my clients.
I’d create comprehensive tax plans showing exactly how to save tens of thousands in taxes. But when clients took these strategies to their existing CPAs to implement, nothing happened. These CPAs were:
